Emergency First Aid at Work is a one-day course designed for those who want to receive training to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. This is a popular choice and beneficial for both beginners and to those who have attended First Aid courses in the past and wish to refresh their knowledge and skills. This is ideal for persons in low-risk and smaller workplaces and is in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

Delivered by one of our Qualified First Aid trainers guiding you through all the practical life-saving techniques. Designed to be interactive, engaging, fun and memorable. First aid priorities Managing incidents Basic life support AED awareness Examination of a casualty Causes of unconsciousness Control of bleeding Burns and scalds Regulations First aid kits Recording and reporting Course duration The course lasts 6 hours which takes place over one day and will include both theory and practical sessions. Assessment & Certification Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment, there is no final exam. Once you have completed and met the requirements you will be issued with a certificate that is valid for three years. Under the current guidelines, it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months. Each learner will also receive a FREE comprehensive First Aid Manual.
