Skill Overview

This training course will cover the theoretical and practical knowledge of stoma care, so delegates become competent in working with individuals who have a stoma.

Delegates will also teach delegates the correct practice and methods of changing a stoma bag, as well as covering examples of the different types of stoma bags. We will cover the importance of maintaining effective infection control and the underpinning of privacy, dignity and respect of patients.

Course is for up to 12 employees, at your own setting.
