Paediatric first aid courses Manchester is in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Meeting the needs of OFSTED as the required standard. The course is suitable for Childminders, Nursery and School staff (dealing with Foundation Stages) and anybody who deals with children in general, or wanting to expand their Child & Baby first aid knowledge base. Our 2 days (12 hours) course can be delivered at your venue, by our qualified Paediatric First Aid trainer and includes both theory and practical sessions. We can also run your course at weekends or evenings if required. We have a high demand for the 12 hours Paediatric First Aid Courses in Manchester, Bury, Salford, Liverpool, Leeds and other North West areas. Contact us today to book your course. There is also a basic 3 hours Child & Baby First Aid Course and a new (2017) Paediatric Emergency Child Baby First Aid Course 1 day/6 hours course. This course can be completed at your place of work or at one of our open public courses at our training centre in Bury.

EYFS syllabus includes: First Aid Priorities Anaphylaxis Managing Incidents Fractures BLS - Adult, Child, Infant Use of AED (Defib) Control of bleeding Choking casualty Shock Examination Asthma Unconsciousness Eye & Ear Injuries Burns & scald First Aid kits Child Illnesses Regulations Recording & Reporting Successful students will be receive a certificate valid for 3 years upon completion of the course, once deemed as competent, there is no final examination as continual assessment throughout the course unless the customer has requested an accredited qualification. i.e. OFQUAL, RQF etc...
