Our Level 5 Operations or Departmental Manager Apprenticeship develops the strategic leadership skills essential for driving business success. This programme equips aspiring and current managers with the knowledge and tools to lead and inspire teams, manage change, and deliver results. Upon completion of the Level 5 Operations or Departmental Manager Apprenticeship, learners will be able to: • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organisational goals. • Lead and motivate teams to optimise performance and productivity. • Manage budgets, resources, and financial performance. • Analyse data and make informed decisions to improve operational efficiency. • Implement change management strategies to adapt to evolving business environments. • Develop and implement talent management strategies. • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders. • Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills. • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complex challenges. • Contribute to the development of organisational culture and values.

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
