QA's Cloud Network Specialist apprenticeship is built on a cloud-first curriculum, covering on-premise and cloud-enabled networking and providing a solid foundation in IT principles.   Module 1: Introduction and Core IT Principles Module 2: Core Cloud & Networking Principles  Module 3: Network Architecture and Security  Module 4: AWS, Azure & Advanced Networking Principles 

Including additional Azure Fundamentals Qualificationor 365 Fundamentals qualifications.

Learning Objectives

An understanding of key organisational, cultural and health and safety considerations required by Cloud specialists. Knowledge of core networking principles including network addressing, Cloud, virtualisation and security. Principles, hardware, protocols and services that form part of on-premise, Cloud and hybrid network architectures. Cloud technologies, virtualisation, DevOps, methodologies and the fundamentals of databases & data migration.

Funding Eligibility

For apprentices aged 16-21 the training costs are fully funded by the government. For apprentices aged over 21, there is a 5% co-investment which would be paid by the employer. Alternatively, the training costs can be covered by utilising the Apprenticeship Levy Fund.
