Core Requirements

Age: 16+ at start.
Right to Work & Residency: Must have the legal right to live and work in England for the full duration and meet residency requirements.
Employment: Must be in (or moving into) a project management‑relevant role that enables development of the programme’s knowledge, skills and behaviours.
No dual enrolment: Not enrolled on another government‑funded training programme at the same time.

Academic Background & Entry Routes

Typical entry: Level 3 qualifications (e.g., A‑Levels) or relevant professional experience (commonly 2–3+ years in project/coordination roles).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Experienced professionals (e.g., 4+ years plus a practitioner qualification or completion of a Level 4 Project Manager apprenticeship) may fast‑track into later stages, subject to provider assessment.
University/provider will confirm final entry criteria, including any additional programme‑specific requirements.

English & Maths

Ideally GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
If not already achieved, Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths must be completed during the apprenticeship.
