Skill Overview

This course is designed for candidates whose national certificate is due to expire, but only use their skills infrequently. The course complies with the approved code of practice issued by the Health & Safety Commission. The aim of this course:  
- Reduced training costs  
- Increase flexibility for training needs  
- Expert advice and tuition will always be at hand

Learning Objectives

This course ensures that delegates whose national certificate is due to expire are re-trained in the methods and techniques required for the qualified instruction of lift truck operators. Topics covered include:  
- The role of the instructor  
- Legislation  
- Testing skills  
- Use of training aids  
- Techniques in instruction  

Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be awarded with a renewed RTITB Fork lift truck instructor certificate. This will be valid for a further 5 years.
