Skill Overview

The PRINCE2® Practitioner extends the knowledge acquired at the Foundation level to enable you to successfully manage projects in a range of different industries and contexts. In order to complete the Practitioner certificate, you must have first passed the Foundation exam. PRINCE2 is a globally recognised project management method that is used by organisations to deliver projects on time and within scope. The Practitioner will equip you with the skills and processes to manage projects of any size and complexity. PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications must be renewed after three years through either retaking the exam or undertaking further qualifications.
Learning Objectives
*
*
The PRINCE2 Practitioner course encompasses the practical application of the project management method in diverse contexts and scenarios, covering the following areas: Analysing the application of PRINCE2 principles within specific contexts. Applying and customising relevant aspects of PRINCE2 themes to suit the context, including the business case theme, organisation theme, quality theme, plans theme, risk theme, and change theme. Evaluating the effectiveness and suitability of various themes, considering both the context and PRINCE2 principles. Applying and tailoring relevant aspects of different PRINCE2 processes to match the context, encompassing actions, roles, and responsibilities. The certification is assessed by a 2.5 hour open book, multiple-choice examination. It will test your ability to apply and tailor the PRINCE2 project management method. The assessment requires a 55% pass mark.
