How Ginger Nut Deliver Our training delivery is based on a blended model of one-to-one sessions every 4 weeks, with group sessions, webinars, online courses, video, and additional support as required. This means that our learners have the guidance they need as well as the flexibility to learn around the requirements of their jobs. We find that this approach reduces disruption for the learners and their line managers giving everyone the best chance of benefitting from the training and completing the course. Delivery is based around a series of learning units which are grouped into three main areas of focus. To support learning, we utilise Highfield workbooks, which are online resources mapped to the apprenticeship. All learners are given access to LinkedIn Learning, including bespoke channels designed to support their apprenticeship and Perlego, which includes full searchable access to hundreds of thousands of textbooks to support study. The learning areas are: Managing people and developing relationships Leading people and leadership styles Organisational cultures, equality and diversity Managing people and teams Stakeholder management and communications Understanding human resources and performance management Delivering results Operational and strategic management Project management Finance Data usage and analysis Personal Effectiveness Self-awareness Problem-solving and decision making Reflective practice and developing self Project Activity and Portfolio Building Each area covers aspects of knowledge, skills and behaviours and helps the learner build the experience and portfolios they need to successfully complete their apprenticeship. Gateway and End Point Assessment End Point Assessment consists of a 20-minute presentation, on a topic chosen by the End Point Assessment Organisation, followed by a 30 minute question and answer session and a 60 minute professional discussion underpinned by the learner’s portfolio. Additional Qualification Availability The projects map directly onto Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) units, which means we can currently offer the ILM level 3 Diploma alongside the standard on a case-by-case basis, with an additional contribution required to cover the costs of certification. This leads to on-screen exams or scenario-based assessment and professional discussion. The onscreen tests take place under invigilated conditions at your offices and professional discussions can take place face-to-face, over the phone or using video conferencing. The scenario-based assessments are written assessments based on realistic, work-based scenarios.
