Skill Overview

The aim of this 1 Day Course is for delegates to recognise the steps involved
in the appraisal process in order to be able to deliver effective appraisals.

During the course delegates will explore what should happen before, during
and after the appraisal as well as looking at how to communicate effectively
throughout the process.  

Recognising that internal processes can vary, this course can be tailored
to suit clients individual needs in order to make practical work as relevant as
possible.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course delegates will be able to;

•	Identify the different steps involved in the appraisal process

•	Identify the benefits of effective appraisals to all stakeholders involved
in the process

•	Recognise the importance of effective communication throughout the appraisal process

•	Complete an action plan to help with planning and organising future staff appraisals

This course is designed for anyone in a Managerial or Supervisory position
where the appraisal process is, or is expected to form part of their role.
