The need for adult social care continues to rise at a time when the system supporting that care is rapidly and significantly changing. With around 1.5 million people working in adult social care in England, care workers need up-to-date support and guidance in order to provide adequate person-centred care. This qualification will provide you with an insightful introduction, and will help you develop your knowledge and understanding of the skills needed to work in the adult social care sector. It is suitable for you if you are an adult returning to work, or if you are undergoing a career change. It will increase your knowledge and understanding of the adult social care sector.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority part subsides our flexible learning courses for GM residents. The College does not charge a fee for the course; however, failure to complete it may incur a £125 administration fee. Applicants must have been living in the UK for at least 3 years.
